Ian Joseph - Director
Ian is Head of the Not for Profit and Sectors Skills Councils practice at Russam GMS and he is Interim Managing Director of Athene Interims. Prior to this he was a senior consultant for one of the UK's leading executive search firms where he worked on high profile executive and non-executive roles in the Not for Profit and Public sector. Before this, Ian spent over six years as Chief Executive of a medium-sized charity which specialised in working in the fields of homelessness, addiction, mentoring and international development.
Richard Astle - Partner
Before setting up Athene in June 2003, Richard was Corporate Affairs Director for AMP Pearl, one of the country's leading financial services groups. He specialises in developing comprehensive communication plans for a range of projects and change programmes, working mainly in the financial services and public sectors. Richard won the Institute of Public Relations Sword of Excellence for public affairs in 2000.
Jason Atkinson - Partner
Jason Atkinson has 16 years of international sales and marketing experience across both the financial services and fashion retailing sectors. Prior to joining the Russam GMS team in 2005 he spent eight years working for various life, pensions and banking institutions including Pearl Assurance and AMP. He has expertise in leveraging all aspects of the marketing mix and also a strong background in project and programme management, risk and compliance, governance and sales management. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Interim Management Association (IMA); a founding member of the Financial Promotions Action Group; and is involved in a number of other industry bodies and associations.
Emma Kynoch – Head of Resourcing
Emma joined Russam GMS in 2008 as Head of the company’s Resource Management Team, having previously worked as a Vetting Manager and Resourcer within the utilities recruitment sector. Her role is to continuously review and improve all available sources and methods of attracting the highest calibre candidates to ensure a swift and bespoke service to all our clients and similarly provide interims with up-to-date details of the best opportunities in their sector.
Emma is also involved with two other Russam GMS joint ventures, Trustees Unlimited, and NB: Board Interim. She also sits on the panel of Interim Women, a Russam GMS initiative promoting women in interim management, helps Charles Russam with the administration for the Russam Business Network and sits on the Russam GMS HR Committee.
